We assume no liability for damages, loss of earnings or injury that may result from the products, services, information, instruction, and advice provided on this website or through any of our products or events. You, the visitor, assume all liability.
Specific products may have specific guarantees or conditions attached which will be clearly indicated for each product. PDL Group provides products that include, among other things: physical products such as books and other printed materials; digital products such as downloads of PDF documents; membership in websites that provide educational materials including videos; workshops and seminars that may include digital and in-person program deliveries.
All transactions will be conducted in Canadian dollars.
DEFECTIVE PRODUCT POLICY
PDL Group will, at its discretion, allow for the return or replacement of any defective product within 30 days from the date of purchase. After 30 days all sales are final.
If you experience difficulty accessing or downloading your purchased product, then help is available – please contact us for support at firstname.lastname@example.org. After 30 days all sales of digital products are final.
Individual products may, at our discretion, have a more extensive money-back guarantee which will be noted on a product-by-product basis. Shipping and handling for any products purchased will be arranged with the buyer and will be at their expense. LIVE EVENTS/WORKSHOPS/OTHER PROGRAMS
Please note that refunds and payment terms for live events, including internet-only events such as webinars as well as on-site events or workshops, are different depending on the specific event. These terms will be made available to interested parties on an event-by-event basis.
Upon acceptance into a program, you will be advised of payment procedures. Payment in full for the program is due upon receipt of your acceptance. Payments can be made by credit card on line through the PDL Group secure website or by cheque/check, money order, wire, bank transfer or email transfer (in Canada).
Program Pricing: PDL Group is committed to offering high quality programs at a fair price. We review pricing annually. Pricing is subject to change without notice.
Program Cancellation: If a participant chooses to cancel their enrollment before the beginning of a program, they must notify us in writing by sending a cancellation request to the contact information indicated for the individual program. Participants will receive a full refund minus a non-refundable registration fee. This refund is calculated from the date of the written notice (postmarked or received email date). Information for the individual program will outline the applicable non-refundable registration fees.
If you cancel a program where you have taken advantage of program bundling or other special savings, the savings amount applied to the purchase will also be deducted from your refund.
HST will be added to non-refundable registration fees where applicable. Eligible refunds will be processed back to the credit card, organization, or individual that paid for the original registration within 30 days of receipt of the request.
No refunds will be given if a participant misses an individual session within a program.
PDL Group reserves the right to cancel or postpone programs at its discretion. On such occasions, a participant may choose to transfer his/her tuition to another date at no additional charge or to receive a full refund. PDL Group is not responsible for participants’ travel costs or related expenses for cancelled programs.
Program Transfers: You may transfer your registration from one course date to another without penalty, provided the request is made more than 30 days prior to the program start date. Transfers that occur less than 30 days prior to the start date are subject to a transfer fee plus HST.
Program Extensions and Withdrawals:
Extensions: Participants who need extra time to complete a program beyond the time outlined for that particular program’s maximum time frame must request an extension in writing by sending an email to the Coordinator of that particular program. Extension requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis and we will work with you to identify a process to help you succeed in completing the program. An extension that takes you too far beyond the program’s end date may result in an extension fee, plus HST where applicable and payable at the time of your extension request.
Withdrawals: Withdrawal notifications must be made in writing and directed to the Coordinator for your particular program. If you withdraw from a program after the start date, a refund will be pro-rated for the unused portion of the program minus a non-refundable registration fee which will depend on the particular program you are enrolled in. The refund is calculated from the postmarked/email date of the written notice. Refunds will be made within 30 days following the receipt of a written request.
You may cancel your recurring billing subscription products at any time.
A refund on a recurring billing product will also result in a cancellation of the subscription itself.
If you request a cancellation for a recurring billing product no future charges will be made to your account. Keep in mind, a cancellation will not generate a refund – it will only stop any future billing.
